A $200 million eastern New Providence development has seen significant interest in its recently launched condo offering, its sales and marketing director telling Tribune Business that despite the traditionally slow summer period, the development had seen “a good amount activity” in lot sales and reservations for its condo product.

Zack Bonczek, director of sales and marketing at the 69-acre marina and beachfront Palm Cay development on the New Providence’s southeastern shore, told Tribune Business that significant interest had been expressed in the $17.5 million 50 unit Anchorage condo offering launched in late July.

“It’s been attractive for local and foreign buyers. We have received several reservations and there are several others on the way. Everything is moving quite nicely,” said Mr Bonczek.

The two bedroom units are being offered at pre-construction prices starting at $319,000 up to $329,000. Three models, Acklins, Bimini and Cat Island models are available to choose from.

Mr Bonczek said that the developer was also gearing up to launch another product perhaps in the next several weeks.

While not wanting to release too many details about the offering Mr Bonczek said: “It’s a new product that we feel is going to hit another sort of niche in the market as well. It will probably be a month or six weeks before we let everybody know about this new product that we’re working on.”

Mr Bonczek said the developer has also been working on the completion of the development’s amenities over the past several months.

“That includes the tennis courts, the harbour master’s office and the renovations to the club house for the conversion to a restaurant. We are really concentrating on delivering the amenities that our buyers are looking for,” said Bonczek.
