POLICE yesterday officially identified two teenagers who were shot and killed last week.
The first was 18-year-old Sylvester Woodside of Jubliee Gardens, who was shot on Lignum Vitae Boulevard on Thursday.
The other was Thon Thompson, 17, of Pinedale. He was shot and killed on Minnie Street the same day.
16-year-old among suspects detained in murder
FOUR male suspects, ages 16, 18, 20 and 21 were detained by police yesterday and are currently being questioned in connection with the murder of Sylvester Woodside.
Police say the men were arrested just after noon yesterday by officers from the Selective Enforcement Team (SET) and the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU).
Acting on a tip, the officers went to a house on Grants Street, Fox Hill, where they found the men.
They are currently helping police with their investigation.
