A 26-year-old man died in hospital yesterday after being seriously injured in a car crash on Friday.
Leamon Pearson of Twynam Heights was involved in an accident at around 1.30am at the intersection of Mackey and Shirley Streets.
He was driving a 2006 Nissan, which collided with a 2006 Honda Accord driven by another man.
Pearson was rushed to the hospital in serious condition and succumbed to his injuries yesterday afternoon.
Police are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the accident to immediately contact the Police Traffic Department on 393-7714/393-7204 or call 919.
