A TWENTY-five year-old man of Sunset Park was arraigned on a murder charge before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt yesterday.

It is alleged that on Friday, December 6, Furlano Williams killed Latone Braynen on Carmichael Road.

Williams was not required to enter a plea.

Crown prosecutors informed the Chief Magistrate that they will present a Voluntary Bill of Indictment at the next trial meeting.

The trial was adjourned to March 11, 2014. Williams will be remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until that time.

Earlier yesterday, police officers restrained a man outside the Nassau Street courts when he attempted to approach Williams while he was being escorted by the officers.

Shedding tears, the man went near Williams and said: “Don’t come up here laughing, that’s my brother you killed. You think this a game hey?”

Williams replied: “Bey come from round me ya.”
