Stabbed man fights for life

A 23-YEAR-OLD man is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed multiple times on Sunday night.

Police have not revealed much information regarding the incident, but according to reports it happened around 8pm in Baillou Hill Road South.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. Last night, he was said to be listed in serious condition.

Police have a 20-year-old man from Pastel Gardens in custody for questioning in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man responsible for robbing another man of his 2004 gray Nissan Skyline sedan.

The incident reportedly occurred around 10.30pm on Sunday at the corner of Faith Avenue and Cowpen Road.

Anyone with information that may assist police with their investigation is asked to call 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 328-Tips.
