A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl could only watch as her father was gunned down in the street last night.
The 29-year-old man is stable in hospital after the shooting. The man was with a female friend and his daughter in Cambridge Lane, off Baillou Hill Road, when he was approached by two men, one wearing a red windbreaker, and shot.
The victim, from Cassandra Close, Golden Gates, was taken to hospital by private vehicle.
The incident took place at about 6.30pm last night.
Neither the woman or the child were injured in the incident.
Police investigations continue.
There were also reports last night of a fatal shooting in South Abaco.
Details were not confirmed at the time of going to press, but the victim was reportedly a Haitian man.
