A JOHN Bull worker has been accused of stealing more than $25,000 from the company.

Sales associate Latoya Williams-Wright, 24, of Spikenard Road was charged with stealing.

She was also charged with possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply, along with her 25-year-old husband, Mikel Wright.

Both denied the charges in yesterday’s arraignment at the magistrates’ court.

It is claimed that between December 10, 2012 and January 9, 2013, Williams-Wright stole $25,898 from the property of John Bull Limited.

Her husband, Mikel, is accused of abetting her in the alleged offence.

The allegation followed a commissions deposit from the company being made to the account of the accused in the wrong amount, $26,159.60.

The funds were allegedly not returned, and the employee and husband were arraigned on stealing and abetment to stealing.

It was also claimed that on January 9, the couple were found in possession of eight packages of Indian Hemp that was found at their home.

The couple also pleaded not guilty to this charge and were each granted $10,000 bail with a surety. They will stand trial on April 22.
