A MAN had his murder case fast-tracked to the Supreme Court yesterday after being served with a Voluntary Bill of Indictment in Magistrate’s Court.
Thaddeus Williams, 20, of Hospital Lane, is now scheduled to appear before Senior Justice Jon Isaacs on July 5, when he will be given a trial date.
Williams was arraigned nearly a year ago in connection with the February 10, 2012 shooting death of 23-year-old Deshante Bain.
The Scott Street resident was shot and killed outside his home between West Street and Hospital Lane.
Williams was not required to enter a plea to the charge due to its nature at the time of his arraignment last February.
