PRE-anniversary celebrations are due to start at 8pm at Clifford Park tonight. A people’s Junkanoo love and unity rush is scheduled for 3am on Wednesday.
A national float parade departs from the park at 3pm on Wednesday and travels throughout New Providence.
Police last night issued an advisory notice for visitors to the Clifford Park event with regard to parking.
There will be no parking on:
• Infant View Road
• Chippingham Road
• Marcus Bethel Way.
Officers advised that the only parking would be at Arawak Cay and the Botanical Gardens or at the eastern entrance of Marcus Bethel Way.
