The Andros-based Tiamo Resort yesterday announced its affiliation with Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Wilfried Vincent, its general manager, said Tiamo was the the first resort in the Bahamas to earn this designation.

He said: “This new promotion comes not only through the unusual comfort of the villas, the exclusive service and quality of the installations. But it also highlights the more subtle details, a real ‘emotional luxury touch’; the ability to share sensitive relationships with our clients, offering those exclusive small moments, unique and personalised attention that each of their memories will live with emotion.”
