Four questioned in connection with murder

POLICE are questioning four men, ages 47, 29, 24 and 21, in connection with a recent murder. The murder reportedly occurred around 6.15pm on Saturday.

Preliminary reports indicated that the victim was at a property on Augusta Street south of South Street when he was approached and shot by two men.

He was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police are also investigating a shooting incident involving a 29 year old man who was shot in his upper body on Tuesday around 10pm at Andros Avenue off Market Street by a man wearing a green shirt.

The victim is currently detained in the hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition.

Police are also investigating an incident involving a 41 year old Dorsett Alley woman, who reportedly stabbed a man shortly after 9pm on Tuesday.

Police say the incident followed an altercation.

The man was taken to hospital where he is detained in serious condition.

Police are also investigating the stabbing of two women around 3am on Wednesday. The victims were at Arawak Cay when they were approached and stabbed by a group of women.

They were taken to hospital, where they were treated and discharged.

Police detained a 20 year old Williams Lane man after finding a handgun and ammunition. He was taken in for questioning at around 5pm on Wednesday.
