Man stabbed after fight in store

INAGUA police are following significant leads after a 25-year-old man was stabbed this weekend.

The Prison Street resident was reportedly at a store when he got into a fight with three men and received serious injuries early Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident took place shortly after 1am and the victim was treated at the clinic.

As investigations into the matter continue, police in Nassau are also searching for a man believed to have stabbed a boy multiple times last week.

Police reported that the stabbing incident took place sometime after 9.30pm Thursday as the juvenile victim was walking with two women on Washington Street.

The victim was taken to hospital in a private vehicle for treatment, and later discharged.

An hour later, police arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with a separate stabbing incident at a business on Soldier Road.

According to police, the 25-year-old Mollie Street resident got into a fight with a 27-year-old woman, who was subsequently stabbed in her back.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and discharged.
