THREE men accused of stealing more than $89,000 in cash and valuables were arraigned in the magistrates’ court yesterday.

David Pierre, 26, Robert Rolle, 25, and Rodney Rolle, 22, all residents of Exuma, were each charged with three counts of armed robbery and breaking and entering.

It is believed that the trio, with hand guns, robbed Mike, Allen and Tony Farmer of two Rolex watches valued at $85,000, an undetermined amount of money, three Apple iPhones, a laptop, an iPad, and a necklace on Friday, July 19 at Tar Bay, Exuma.

None of the men were required to enter a plea before Acting Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson Pratt, and the prosecution moved to apply for a Voluntary Bill of Indictment to fast track the case to the Supreme Court.

Before the men left the court room each accused Central Detective Unit officers, who visited Exuma to investigate, of abuse. Magistrate Ferguson-Pratt took note of their complaints which she said would be committed to court records.

Only one of the accused, Pierre, was represented by an attorney. The case was adjourned until September 19 and the three were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
