Little Switzerland hosts gala event for new collection

Little Switzerland hosted a gala event at their Breitling Boutique Nassau downtown Bay Street over the weekend to showcase the arrival of the 2013 Breitling timepiece collection.

The pieces were originally debuted at the World Watch and Jewellery Show in Basel, Switzerland, to more than 100,000 visitors from all over the world.

Guests, many of whom sported their own Breitling timepieces, were treated to the first look at the 2013 collection presented by Laura Silva from Breitling Caribbean, Todd Howard, Director of Operation Little Switzerland, Nassau, Barbados, Key West and San Juan; Nick Simmons, Manager Breitling Boutique, and Wellington Seymour, Regional Marketing Executive.

Among the timepieces showcased were the Breitling Avenger models with slimmer cases for a more ergonomic profile, the Superocean 42 diver’s watch water-resistant to 5,000 feet; the Transocean Chronograph GMT, a new travel watch in red gold or steel; the Transocean Unitime Pilot aviator’s chronograph with a worldtime system and steel mesh bracelet; and the Breitling for Bentley collection appealing to world travellers with its dual timezone and world time mechanisms.

Nick Simmons welcomed Breitling owners and aspiring owners to celebrate the new collection.

“Breitling combines luxury and accomplishment with performance and prestige,” he said. “We are happy to have our friends with us as we introduce the new line for 2013. We invite everyone to stop by the Little Switzerland’s Breitling Boutique to view these high performance timepieces.”
