Man acquitted of armed robbery

A MAN was acquitted of armed robbery in the Supreme Court yesterday.

Kendrick King stood trial before Justice Indra Charles in connection with the October 11, 2011 hold up of Anthony Aranha.

Yesterday, a nine-member jury deliberated on the evidence in the trial after the case was summarised by Justice Charles. They returned with a 6-3 not guilty verdict.

King was defended by attorney Moses Bain.

Vernal Collie and Kristan Stubbs prosecuted for the Crown.
