BOWLING

THE Bahamas Bowling Federation has announced that its trials for the Tournament of Americas is scheduled to start 7pm Wednesday. Bowlers should really be “in the alley “ by 6:30pm latest to “get themselves in the frame of mind” to bowl. Applications can be submitted via email to any member of the executive, inclusive of Tyrone Gardiner, Yule Hoyte, David Slatter, Ken Braitwaite Sr, Tyrone Knowles, Camille Burnside, Jo-Anne Powell or Leon Graham.

VOLLEYBALL CLASSIC

THE Baptist Sports Council has announced that it will hold its 2013 Volleyball Classic on Saturday, June 29 at the DW Davis Gymnasium, starting at 10am. The classic will be designed for just the co-ed division. Each team will be required to have a minimum of three women on the court at all times. Each game will be played during the best-of-three sets speed or rally-a-point speed rule. There is an entry fee. CYCLING CLASSIC

THE Baptist Sports Council has announced that it will hold its 2013 Cycling Classic on Saturday, July 6 at the One-Mile National Cycling Track at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex. The classic will be designed for boys and girls in the 5-and-under, 10-and-under, 15-and-under, 19-and-under, open and masters categories. There is a registration fee with the exception of the 5-and-under and 10-and-under, which will be entered free of charge. rested churches are urged to contact Brent Stubbs.
