Marijuana plants confiscated

Drug Enforcement Officers confiscated more than 400 marijuana plants at a Jubilee Gardens home.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man after they discovered the plants, shortly before 11am.

The plants were said to range from 1ft to 3ft in height.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE arrested four people after finding Marijuana during raid in Chippingham earlier this week.

Officers of the Selective Enforcement Team searched an apartment at Albury Street around 2.30pm Tuesday. Two men and two women were detained.

On Wednesday, SET officers arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a serious offence shortly before 3pm. According to reports, the man was a resident of Hutcheson Street off Jerome Avenue

Police investigations into both matters are ongoing.

POLICE recovered a magazine containing ammunition after a failed armed robbery earlier this week.

The magazine was dropped, according to reports, by a man dressed in blue jeans and a white shirt as he attempted to rob a business near the corner of Claridge and Wulff Roads.

The gunman fled the scene emptyhanded shortly before 4pm Wednesday

Police are investigating.

POLICE are searching for two men believed to be involved a stabbing incident.

A man was stabbed by two other men at Village Road and Brooklyn Avenue shortly before 6pm Wednesday.

The attackers fled west along Parkgate Road, according to reports, which state that one culprit was dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans, and the other culprit wore a green shirt and black jeans.

POLICE are urging witnesses to the country’s latest murder to come forward with any information that may assist investigations.

Roland Robinson, 33, was gunned down by two men as he rode his bicycle along Honeycomb Street shortly after 9pm Monday.

According to police, the gunmen approached from a nearby track road and shot Mr Robinson, a resident of Anderson Street.
