AUTHORITIES say an investigation is under way into a shooting incident which has left a 23-year-old man in hospital.
According to police, the victim was in the parking lot of an East Bay Street business establishment when he heard gunshots and later realised he had been injured. The man was later then taken to hospital by a private vehicle.
Police said the incident occurred shortly after 4am on Saturday. The public is asked to come forward with any information they might have.
In other crime news, a 40-year-old man is being questioned by investigators in connection with a shooting incident which happened last Tuesday, March 19, at Polehemus Street.
He was arrested on Friday at 6.30pm after the Selective Enforcement Team (SET) carried out an operation.
