A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy who died on Monday has been identified as Peter Emmanuel Higgs, of Magellan Crest, Freeport.
According to sources, the toddler had sustained severe injuries to the buttocks.
The child’s father, David Stuart, was in custody on Tuesday assisting police with their investigations.
In yesterday’s story, it was incorrectly reported that ACP Emrick Seymour had released the name of the father.

My heart recoiled in pain when I heard this story because I considered my own baby boy, whom I love more than anything in the world. When I look into my son's eyes I see the helplessness and the trust he places in me to love and protect him. My baby is no different than any other little one out there. They depend on us to protect them. R.I.P little one, no more suffering, pain or hurt for you.
