Dunkin’ Donuts will create 30 jobs when it opens its seventh New Providence location in the Independence Shopping Plaza this week.

Ash Henderson, director of marketing at Restaurant Services, the Bahamas’ franchise owner, told Tribune Business that Dunkin Donuts’ newest restaurant will feature a drive-through service.

“The biggest new aspect to this East Street South location, and the thing that we’re most excited about, is the our new drive-thruough,” he said.

“We know that our customers are busy, and want to grab their morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches, as well as their lunch and afternoon snacks, as quickly as they can.

“Our new drive through not only differentiates us from our competitors, but enables our new and existing customers to be served quickly so they can get on with their day. The restaurant also creates a new, healthier and fresh option for lunch in the East Street South area.”

The Independence Shopping Plaza restaurant will offer guests a full menu of the brand’s classic food and beverages, including hot and iced coffee, frozen drinks, freshly-brewed tea, donuts, bagels, all-day breakfast and lunch sandwiches and other snacks.

“This new East Street South location will be the seventh Dunkin’ Donuts in New Providence. We also have stores downtown, in Oakes Field, on Paradise Island, and three locations in the Lynden Pindling International Airport. This new Dunkin’ location has created 30 new jobs. This brings the total number of Dunkin’ Donuts (Bahamas) staff to nearly 100,” said Mr Henderson.
