Many businesses were well represented at the popular Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Mix n Mingle, hosted by Senor Frog’s for April. Here, members of the real estate industry network with those in shipping and the media, making valuable contacts to help their business.

MEMBERS of the business community were out in force at the Lucayan Harbour Senor Frog’s for the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce’s monthly ‘Mix and Mingle.’

Each month, the Chamber chooses a fun spot for managers, owners and staff of local companies to network.

It offers opportunities for attendees to meet in a casual atmosphere and talk business, and it gives local restaurants and other venues a chance to highlight their services.

Lisa Turnquest, the chamber’s second vice-president and fundraising chairman, said: “We are always pleased when entities such as Senor Frog’s opens their arms to the GB Chamber and its membership as it demonstrates a willingness to share in the whole process of developing and promoting our island. Each host is unique and it’s our responsibility at the GBCC to showcase these unique features to our membership.”

The GB Chamber will hosts the next monthly luncheon on May 8, which will feature expert speakers on the topic of the impending VAT legislation and its effect on Freeport.
