Nine is fine for Bahamas in opener

The Bahamas produced a stunning performance in their CONCACAF Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifying opener, hammering Puerto Rico 9-1.

Puerto Rico put up a stiff challenge in the first third, holding the hosts to 1-1 at Malcolm Park, but their resistance didn't last.

A flurry of goals from the Bahamas in the second and third periods, including a stunning top corner strike from their own half, ensured they got off the mark in style.
