Miller introduces new vice president to IOC chief Rogge

BAHAMAS Olympic Committee (BOC) president Wellington Miller has introduced newly elected vice presidents Derron Donaldson and Cora Hepburn to the president of the International Olympic Committee, Dr Jacques Rogge.

The group was in Lima, Peru, April 24-27 for the International Olympic Committee’s ‘World Sport For All’ conference, focused on the principle that the practice of sport is a human right that should be available for everyone, everywhere, without discrimination.

Cora Hepburn, a former president of the Bahamas Volleyball Federation, is the first female president of an Olympic sport federation and the first ever female vice president of the BOC. Donaldson is the youngest ever vice president of the BOC.
