UNDER the theme “Teachers wear many hats”, Temple Christian Preschool and Elementary students paid tribute to their teachers in a special assembly held for Teachers Appreciation Week.
Minister of Education, Science and Technology Jerome Fitzgerald spoke at the celebration, while the Reverend David Cash, Associate Pastor of Evangelistic Temple, was the guest speaker.
Students participated in the programme, performing recitations, skits, songs and dance selections.
Minister Fitzgerald congratulated the 40 teachers and aides who were being honoured for their dedicated service to Temple Christian.
He encouraged the teachers to continue to be role models and nation builders, and thanked them for helping to produce a cadre of fine scholars over the years.
