A College of the Bahamas student has been missing since last week.
Police are requesting the public’s help in locating 18-year-old Michaela Thompson, of East Street South.
Ms Thompson was last seen on Friday, May 17, 2013.
Anyone with information that can assist in locating Ms Thompson is asked to contact police at 911, 919, 322-333/4 or Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS.

Is this the abbreviated version of the story? If so its a bit misleading. Another news outlet has noted that she moved out acknowledging so in the form of a letter.
