Raising a glass to Bahamian art

OLD Fort Bay Club was the ‘haute spot’ this week as they hosted the initial launch of Bristol Cellars’ Moet & Chandon’s Ice Imperial Champagne while showcasing Bahamian artist Trevor Tucker.

Clad in white with gold tones, patrons cooled off around the pool with the Ice Imperial served is oversized flutes filled with ice.

The champagne was intensified with choices of lime or orange zests, sprigs of mint and raspberries – just a touch to enhance the aromatic power of the ‘Ice’.

Event manager Anne Marie Sampson, ensured that the champagne was freely flowing, the menu reflected the elegance of the evening and the staff provided their usual Old Fort genuine hospitality.

The distributor for Ice Imperial, Bristol Cellars, was represented by the industry’s veteran, Juan Bacardi.

Trevor Tucker presented his ‘Illuminate Collection’ positioned around the entire space, including poolside and inside the club house.

These new stunning pieces were made of glass, which when hung with backlights, created a lovely sight of coloured hues.
