In conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of Independence celebrations, under the distinguished patronage of their Excellencies Sir Arthur Foulkes, Governor General and Lady Joan Foulkes, the Nassau City Opera Company (NCO) and the Nassau Chamber Ensemble (NCE) will present the Second National Remembrance Day Concert featuring Mozart’s Requiem and Patriotic Songs at Christ Church Cathedral, 8:00 pm on November 8, 2013.
The Nassau City Opera Company and The Nassau Chamber Ensemble are pleased to pay homage to the many Bahamian heroes of World Wars I & II who paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives and to honour all law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in service to our country.
The audience is in for an evening of musical delight. Patrons are asked to be seated by 7:30 pm as the concert starts promptly at 8:00 pm. Tickets priced at $25:00 can be purchased from the office, Christ Church Cathedral George Street.
