A 27-YEAR-OLD Harbour Island man has been taken into custody in connection with a stabbing on that island on Sunday.
The incident took place at around 7.30am, while the victim was sitting on a wall in Colebrooke Alley.
A man that he knows approached him and stabbed him in the upper back with an object that has yet to be officially identified.
A short while later, the suspect was detained for questioning.
The victim was treated by a local doctor and later airlifted to New Providence, where he is listed in serious condition.
