PM in Lond for meeting with Hutchinson Whampoa principals

PRIME Minister Christie is in London today, meeting with the principals of Hutchinson Whampoa to discuss future investment prospects in Grand Bahama.

From London, the Prime Minister travels to Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). Before returning, he will have an audience with the Pope in Vatican City. The Cabinet Office yesterday announced a “minor change” in the PM’s schedule, as he will no longer participate in the Organisation of American States sponsored conference in Washington DC.

Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe will represent Mr Christie as the keynote speaker at the plenary luncheon of the 37th Annual Conference on the Caribbean and Central America (CAAA) on Thursday, November 21, at the OAS. According to its website, the CCAA has been promoting private sector-led economic development in the Caribbean Basin for over three decades.
