POLICE say two men have been detained for questioning in connection with the recent shooting death of a man over the weekend.
The men, ages 38 and 27, were taken into custody on Monday at 7pm at Winder’s Terrace.
The victim, Vernon Robert Rolle, believed to be in his 20s, was found face down on a dirt road in Hollywood Subdivision off Cowpen Road on Saturday. He had been shot several times in the head.
An anonymous tip led police to the scene.
Anyone with information that might help solve the case is being urged to come forward immediately.
