A PARENT was taken into police custody at the Anatol Rodgers High School yesterday after yet another argument with a teacher turned physical.
The altercation reportedly took place after school hours and quickly escalated into what the teacher claimed was an assault. Officers responded and the parent was taken in custody to the Carmichael Road Police Station.
However, the parent was later released pending the completion of an investigation, after claiming that the teacher had assaulted her.
This comes less than two weeks after a parent in Grand Bahama was jailed for six months and fined $884 in damages for assaulting the principal of Jack Hayward High School
