AUTHORITIES yesterday confirmed that a 31-year-old man will be arraigned this week in connection with the murder of an elderly woman who was stabbed to death.
The 74-year-old grandmother, who The Tribune understands is Vivian Johnson, was killed at her home at Greenway Drive on Saturday night.
She was found, police said, on the floor of a bathroom at her residence.
She had several stab wounds. A family member of the victim on Monday said they were shocked when they learned of the incident in which a close relative was assisting police during their investigations.
Police later confirmed that the relative lived with her.
