Mixing and mingling for a cause

QUANTUM Duty Free and Montblanc hosted a mix and mingle event in aid of Junior Achievement’s ‘Great Potential’ scholarship programme at its Bay Street location.

The event catered to clients and members of the Bahamas Bar Association.

Alejandra Lorenzo, marketing and communications director, said Montblanc was more than happy to cosponsor the event along with Quantum Duty Free as Junior Achievement “ties in very well with the corporate UNICEF initiative which supports educational projects for young people”.

Derek Smith, Quantum area regional manager, said the event was the first of many community outreach events supporting educational projects planned by Quantum Duty Free and Montblanc.

“Montblanc has been an exclusive vendor with Quantum Duty Free for the past eight years,” stated Mrs. Deirdree Andrews Marketing Manager for Luxury Retail Limited. “Their support of Quantum and Junior Achievement shows their commitment to the company and the community at large where they understand that it is only through our young person’s that we as a whole can achieve greatness in our country. We are also grateful to Bristol Cellars our other local sponsor for providing the wines and spirits for the night.”
