AFTER fearing the worst, Member of Parliament for Bamboo Town Renward Wells is relieved that his brother is now “out of the woods” after being shot in a backgammon game gone terribly wrong.

This news comes after rumours of 31-year-old Cabrio Wells’ death spread on social media yesterday.
Another other man, who was the target of the shooting, died at the scene.

He has now been identified as Aaron Thurston, also known as “AJ”.

The incident happened on Fowler Street off East Street.

In an interview with The Tribune, Mr Wells said his brother’s condition is now progressing well after a very complicated first night, and the family has been able to see him.
