NASSAU, Bahamas is the location of choice for the new music video by reggae artist Aundre Motive, who is continuing his efforts to feed the community of reggae lovers in the Bahamas.

“The song covers all grounds and it is relatable to people that face hard times as we all do at some point in time. I’m the kind of writer that sees the ills of everyday life and incorporates it all into music,” said Motive, speaking of his latest release “When It Rains”, which features the “Heart 2 Heart Riddim” by Irate.

“It will be done in a medley format instead of a solo video, the project when released has eight artists who are all Bahamian talents, so all songs will be done as a medley to make one video, and it will all come together beautifully,” said Motive.
Motive said the feedback so far has been very positive; supporters have expressed love mainly because of the lyrical content.

Influenced by his Jamaican culture, Motive said he grew up with a love for music, especially reggae music, with exposure to Beres Hammond, George Nooks and Bob Marley.

“From high school, I had an unexplainable love for performing in front my peers who always welcomed me to perform at all school concerts and treats. I kept my persistence and strong motivated spirit when I migrated to the Bahamas in 2004 where I met with several top music industry personalities who helped me along the way on my mission to producing good music. People like Dion Da Butcha Knowles, who believed in the growth of my career,” said Motive.

Since 2011, Motive said he has released singles like “Make Me Rise,” “Leave Him,” “Badmind,” “Crime Solution,” ‘Guilty” and “Who Will it Be”. Currently, Motive is also busy in the studio working on his long awaited debut album “Motivated.”

“Music is my life, my everyday vision and mission, so as long I have breath to sing I shall sing. My music is already full time and I put all my focus on my love,” said Motive.

He said there are many more positive songs to be released from him in the very near future. He said there are also a few charity events he intends to make a few guest appearances at, just to give the joy of music to the people who cannot afford it.
