Eleuthera comes to life with 'All That Jazz'

JAZZ lovers flew in from Nassau and all over the Bahamas last weekend to celebrate Eleuthera’s second annual Jazz Festival.

The weekend events were held to raise funds for the Haynes Library located in Governor’s Harbour.

The “Eleuthera All That Jazz” festival brought international musicians to the Bahamas, gave local musicians the opportunity to display their talents, as well as network with international acts, and above all, promote the Bahamas.

Naomi Taylor-Crawford, event organiser, said the weekend as a magical event on a beautiful island that is Eleuthera.

“Eleuthera was buzzing with various high-energy performances and concerts that took place throughout the Governor’s Harbour area. All profits from the jazz concerts and events will go to the Haynes Library,” she said.

The weekend’s activities included a jazz night at Rainbow Inn with an assortment of different artists from the festival, a “Jazz at the Beach House” event, “Jazz at the Fish Fry”, “All That Jazz Concert” at the Levy Preserve and a “Sunday on the Rocks” lunchtime concert.
