Politicians act like children

EDITOR, The Tribune.

ONE really would have hoped that after 40 years as a sovereign Independent country politicians would have grown up a little bit from being children.

Why is it that both sides seem to think if one side did something which is painfully wrong then if the other does it somehow it is correct and legal?

The stupid and ridiculous letter writing between the two chairmen is laughable except we are in a very serious economic condition which all and sundry do not seem to understand.

Is The Bahamas bankrupt and no one knows?
BEC is owed $165 million.

Real Property Taxes owed $620 million.

Credit Cord debt over $265 million.

Interest annually on the Credit Card debt $40+ million.

As high as 65 per cent of all mortgages are either distressed or close to.

High percentage of non-performing loans, millions.

What is left, Editor?
It seems the sole cure for this mess, both political parties created, is Tax Gambling and make an illegal operation suddenly legal and declare the boys heroes!

35,000 unemployed and little chance for that to drop too much lower for at least six-10 years.
