POLICE arrested two men in connection with a $1.5m drug seizure yesterday.
According to reports, a joint task force found 1,500lbs of marijuana in a fast boat off the coast of Long Island. The men were aged 20 and 23.
The latest drug haul comes after Drug Enforcement Unit officers discovered $3m worth of marijuana near the Ragged Island chain of cays last week.
A total of 88 packages of marijuana were uncovered last Wednesday. The packages had an estimated weight of 3,000lbs.
