A 22-year-old Eleuthera woman was denied bail yesterday after being charged with setting fire to an administrative complex on the island.
Rudica Albury, of Skyline Drive, Lower Bogue, was not required to enter a plea to the charge of arson during her arraignment before Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Albury is accused of causing damage to the building in Upper Bogue on July 28.
Magistrate Forbes said the matter would be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court for trial through a Voluntary Bill of Indictment. The matter was adjourned to Wednesday when Albury is expected to appear before the Chief Magistrate.
