The Cancer Association of Grand Bahama will be honouring the National Breast Cancer Month of October in collaboration with international and local public service organisations and individuals working together to promote breast cancer awareness, share information on the disease, and raise funds to provide greater access to services available at the centre.
The organisation is hosting a series of activities to highlight this special month and show their love and support to those who are battling the deadly disease. Part proceeds from all activities will go toward the Cancer Association. Some of the scheduled events include: October 12 - Fast Track Athletic Club Relay For Cancer Road Race October 19 - Star General Cancer Walk October 26- Avon Cancer Awareness Walk October 27 - Cancer Association of Grand Bahama “Unveil Da-Mask” Annual Survivors Luncheon
