BIG-NAME fashion insiders, Grammy-Award winning producers and songwriters and more than 1,500 stopover visitors are all expected to descend on Nassau next summer for the first ever

Music, Model and Talent Showcase of the Islands (MMTS).

THE PTG Marketing and Modelling Agency is launching this new talent scouting event designed specifically to bring global attention to the vast talent pool in the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

A casting call is now going out to residents in New Providence between the ages of five to 65, both males and females, to attend a free auditioning session at Mario’s Bowling Palace, Tonique Williams Darling Highway, this Saturday, beginning at 11am.
The casting, which will also take place throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean, is the prelude to the inaugural week-long conference scheduled for July 13-19, 2015, at the Meli Nassau Beach Resort.

The event is already creating buzz in the ears of top international fashion and talent scouts, personal managers, casting directors, booking agents, record labels, modelling and talent agencies, as well as with Grammy Award-winning producers and songwriters, who will judge MMTS competitions and conduct seminars, all the while searching for new and unique talents in these respective areas.
Additionally, agents from US, Europe, South Africa, China and Canada will spend a week in the Bahamas scouting for new talent from the participating Caribbean islands, offering contracts and representation opportunities.
Some very recognisable names in the industry are already confirmed and excited to participate, MMTS organisers said. “There is great anticipation that the next big star will be discovered at MMTS 2015.”
