Wildcats on a roll with second straight victory

The University of Kentucky Wildcats continued to roll in the Big Blue Bahamas Tour at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium, with their second consecutive win yesterday.

With associate head coach Kenny Payne at the helm, freshman forward Karl Towns sparked the Wildcats to a 81-58 win over French club Champagne Charlons-Reim.

Towns finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, both game highs. Alex Poythress added 16 points and eight boards, Dakarai Johnson scored 10 and Andrew Harrison finished with five points and six assists.

The Wildcats are slated to face the Dominican Republic national team 1pm today, broadcasted live on ESPN U.
