Police are investigating a fatal house fire that left an infant dead on Tuesday night.
According to reports, shortly after 10:00pm, police received a report of a house fire at St. Vincent Avenue, Elizabeth Estates. On arrival at the scene firefighters found the house fully engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered the badly burned body of an infant.
An active investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the fire.
