When police and citizens are at war with each other like in the US and Jamaica black/inner city communities ......... society is at the brink of chaos.

The Bahamas Police Force has struggled forever to win the trust of black Bahamians after the decision was made to bring black West Indian police here to protect Bay Street ................... this thing goes deep in our culture.

The middle class are being pushed to the out islands. This is not The Bahamas I envisioned growing up! Dear Lord please strike down dead any and all corrupt and criminally minded people in this once proud nation. Hear our prayers!

Start taking out police officers and the whole face of enforcement changes...look forward to seeing criminals drop like flies...shoot to kill gents, don't even give them the chance to get into the court system and back out on the streets. You have the judge jury and executioner in your hands, let's remove them from society once and for all.

REMOVE THE "SCUM" ?????????? ............ the criminals ..... and the 30% of police who qualify as 'SCUM" as well .............................

Not good, not good at all! The police are doing their job, the courts are letting these killers back out onto the streets. ENFORCE THE DEATH PENALTY. These killers have no fear and they do not care about life. Why should the entire nation be held hostage due to the criminal element. Killing police is the final straw. The courts and politicians better understand that the future of our country is at stake. As it stands now decent people are afraid to leave their homes after dark. My thoughts and prayers go out to the RBPF and the family of the officer. You politicians better stop playing politics over this, your family's and their future are at stake, get SERIOUS!

From a Bahamian living in another country point of view, The Bahamas looks scary for me, a citizen to just visit, if tourist still coming, they must not read the Bahamian newspapers. All of what's going on is 40 years of substandard education to the majority, Political Corruption, Heavy religious indoctrination, lack of decent employment, and the list goes on and on. Now after 40 years in the wilderness, those that once ruled the majority has create a social engineering experiment to take back their lands: Gentrification is a general term for the arrival of wealthier people in an existing urban district, a related increase in rents and property values, and changes in the district's character and culture. The term is often used negatively, suggesting the displacement of poor communities by rich outsiders. GUNS, GERMS & MONEY. Anyone thinking what am thinking, we brought CHINA on the door steps of USA, USA (The all knowing of everything illegal) floods The Bahamas with guns = Economic Assassination. (Youtube it, if you don't understand) Too much of a stretch? Regardless, the killing in Nassau especially is mindboggling! Desperate times call for desperate measures. Just checked the job ads a Gynecologist is needed in PMH, I wonder if B.J. Nottage wants to humbly fill that position instead, he may at least get a 'C job grade' rather than a 'FFF+ job grade' as Min of NS.
