I wish to refer to the Big T of December 6, regarding Bahamas Handbook of 2015 and in particular to the article on how the Bahamas Reef Environment Education Foundation (BREEF) has created a stunning underwater Coral Reef Sculpture Garden to honour the late Sir Nicholas Nuttall.
I attended the first meeting called by Sir Nicholas on the Marine Environment of the Bahamas, in an attempt to protect the Nassau Grouper.
Today, we have a three month closed season, and it is my understanding the results are truly exciting. In my opinion it happened due mainly to the foresight of Sir Nicholas.
I have been agitating for recognition of Sir Nicholas for a number of years and I am delighted it has finally happened.
