POLICE are requesting the public’s help in solving four separate armed robberies.

Three of the robberies happened in New Providence, while one took place in Grand Bahama.

In the first incident in the capital, authorities said that shortly after noon on Monday, a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenience store at Wulff Road.

The armed man, police said, fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Another incident saw a woman, who was standing in front of her home in Faith Gardens, robbed of her red Kia Sportage SUV, licence plate 245405. The robbery happened at 8:30pm on Monday.

In the third incident, police said a man was standing in front of his home at Tiger Drive at 1am yesterday when two men armed with handguns robbed him of his burgundy coloured Honda Accord.

Meanwhile in Freeport, Grand Bahama, police said three armed men held up a man, who was walking in the downtown area, at knife point.

As a result the victim was robbed of cash and jewellery.

However, a short time later, two 22-year-old men were arrested and are assisting the police with the incident.
