CHRIS Ferguson, the son of bodybuilder Danita Fry, has signed his official letter to attend the University of Cincinnati.
Ferguson, a member of the Lake Nona High School in Orlando, Florida, signed his name on the dotted line during the National Signing Day for high school students to declare where they intend to play their collegiate season in the new year.
Ferguson, turning in an impressive resumé at Lake Nona, had 17 tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble. He played in the Orange County Senior Bowl and was ranked No.40 in the Sentinel’s 2014 Central Florida Super60.
Before going to Orlando with his family, Ferguson was a basketball player with the CR Walker Knights. He also played for the Orry J Sands Pros in the Commonwealth American Football League.
“Chris, originally from the Bahamas, is new to the football scene, but has wasted no time in making an outstanding introduction,” according to Robert Prunty, the associate head coach at Lake Nona.
“His massive frame and outstanding athleticism are coupled with an instatiable work eithic that will lead to a great career.”
