FORMER FNM candidate for Elizabeth Dr Duane Sands yesterday dismissed rumours that former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham is considering a return to frontline politics. Instead, he said, current FNM members must use Mr Ingraham’s influence to gain the public’s trust and eventually become the new government of the country.
Asked on the Ortland Bodie show about rumours of Mr Ingraham’s return, he said: “We are now talking about hypotheticals but he has made it clear that he is not interested.
“He has said that at this point he is done with front-line politics and I think given the incredible contributions that he has made to this country, we should allow him the privilege and the pleasure of enjoying the fruits of his labour and I think what we need to do as proteges, people who have been influenced, and I have been influenced by his leadership tremendously, is we ought to step up to the place, all of us, and grab the baton that he has presented to us and go win that gold medal for the country.”

Me belly jump'in when aspiring reds shirts leader Duane can go on Comrade "His Eminence" Orthand H's talk show about how he knows what Papa be think'in about anything, and with he kiss and makeup talk, but some of us can't help but be suspicious of he true loyalty to the present day reds leadership? Dr. Sands should have seen the message on the wall by now. Mr. Pinder won the election by three (3) the first time he ran against Sands, and by one hundred and three the second time (103) there is a message some where in there for the Doctor, I hope he gets it. Dr. Sands is most anxious to become PM of this Country. His former leader's theme song use to be "I am better than all the rest" Sands Theme song will be "How great I am"
Try not to believe his " it is all about the Bahamian people" . nothing can be more removed from the TRUTH It is all about Dr.Sands.

On first listen when in-da-runn'in reds leadership hopeful Duane was announcing his intentions he sure as hell didn't be sounding to me like he was ready for no make-out music dance with Minnis, Loretta and Darron. "His Eminence" Ortland H., seems turns he bad taste for them reds leadership office holders into sudden sweetness. But I can perfectly understated the effect "His Eminence" might have had on him, cause everyone in Nassau Town by now knows there has been one major fallout between Minnis who once a regular guest on his talk show and Ortland H .,who has a serious fallout disease with most politicians. Maybe we need look up lucky numbers to play tomorrow for "fallout?" Might be tempted place one $5 bet see if I'm lucky-right.

Comrade Banker I get you but my temptation is not to be taken as some reflection against my stand on the numbers rackets cause I only weaken when I walk in my sleep, over numbers house lay down small wager. Don't impeach me just yet cause I been sleepwalk'in since child.

Regrettably, the good Doctor in the process of performing open heart surgery, where life and death is literally placed in his hands, has developed a "Godly" complex, which he now wishes to carry over to become our Prime Minister.
