THE fifth consecutive Great Harbour Cay/ John Watling’s Wahoo Tournament took place over the weekend with Ferrell Morris in “Southern Accent” winning both the largest Wahoo and the overall tournament.
Jeff Waugh on Rake N’ Scrape won the Tuna Category and Brian Harlander on “The Maverick” won the dolphin category.
It was a spectacular event with 11 boats fishing rougher than expected seas.
A large percentage of the second homeowners came down to participate socially in the island’s signature event.
Food and festivities put on by both second homeowners and locals were beyond expectation.
