IN the Tribune Health story published on Monday, January 13, 2014, with the headline “Signature Events to Raise Money For Health Causes”, Ingrid Sears, public relations of the Heart Ball Committee, was mistakenly quoted as saying that one in six children in the Bahamas are born with heart disease.

Ms Sears said the numbers in fact show that one in a 100 children in the Bahamas are born with heart or heart related diseases; one in six, to one in eight adults are affected by heart disease or heart related diseases.

The Tribune apologises for the mistake.
